An Early Production Facility (EPF) is a modularized integrated solution for oil and gas production that enables customers to start oil/gas production on a fast-track basis.
EPFs are preferred by several oil and gas operators for marginal field development or to quickly monetize the fields prior to installation of a permanent facility. This provides financial and operational benefits for oil and gas production.

Apex’s Complete Production Facility
Apex offers the Complete Production Facility, comprising oil, gas, and produced water treatment trains compliant with environmental regulation. These facilities are designed for a long operational life with the required infrastructure, storage, pipelines, and utility systems. They can also be offered as a modular solution up to a certain size to minimize site engagement. The size ranges between 5,000 and 60,000 barrels per day.
Apex Petroleum Services
Apex Petroleum Services provides engineering expertise, project management, and implementation of the EPF, including:
- Onsite assessment of client needs
- Flexible plant layout for multiple production stages and future growth
- Extended Well Testing (EWT) package to support this new well and additional upcoming wells in the same production cluster
- Existing equipment mobilization and installation
- Operations, logistics, and maintenance plan
