Customer Challenges

APEX was engaged to deliver Well Testing services, Early Production Facilities (EPF), and production enhancement solutions for remote sites to support the customer’s growing field and sub-field developments.

The customer required real-time data capture and transmission from well testing, production, surveillance monitoring, and process facilities.

A key challenge was the lack of existing data infrastructure at these remote sites.

Apex Excellence: The Solution

To address the customer’s needs, APEX implemented a comprehensive data solution utilizing FieldSight acquisition systems. This system allows users to view multiple field locations via a standard web browser on any laptop, desktop, or through the FieldSight App for tablets and phones, enabling monitoring from anywhere in the world.

The first site became operational in October 2022, with the project successfully expanding to six sites over the subsequent two years.

Our complete real-time data logging and transmission solution included:

  • In-Country Setup: Delivered an in-country setup with a dedicated, secure server.
  • Scalable Connectivity: Implemented scalable internet connectivity across multiple sites to support future field expansion.
  • Cloud-Based Access: Provided a cloud-based service accessible from any web-enabled device.
  • Dedicated Support: Established a dedicated customer support team responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing flow parameters at the main production facility for fast and efficient communication.
