{"id":718,"date":"2025-09-16T21:34:20","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T21:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apex-oilfield.com\/?post_type=service&#038;p=718"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:56:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:56:39","slug":"data-header","status":"publish","type":"service","link":"https:\/\/apex-oilfield.com\/?service=data-header","title":{"rendered":"Data Header"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The Data Header<\/strong> is a piping component with several ports along or around its length that provide access to the flow stream for sampling, monitoring of pressure and temperature, sand\/silt monitoring, and chemical injection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is usually mounted in the production flow path upstream and downstream of the surface choke manifold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features and Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ports with valves to monitor <strong>flowline pressure<\/strong>, inject chemicals, obtain samples, or monitor sand production.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ports with <strong>thermowells<\/strong> to monitor <strong>flowline temperature<\/strong> or to insert corrosion probes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can be attached to the inlet of the surface choke manifold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meets applicable industry standards (API 6A) and can be third party certified as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><p><strong>Operation<\/strong><br>The data header is normally mounted in the production flow path upstream of the surface choke manifold.
