Separated by the internal tube wall, two media flow past one another with such alignment that, if there is a temperature difference, they will mutually exchange heat without mixing in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Multi-tube steam heat exchanger consists of a series of tubes contained within a steam pressure shell. Steam is delivered to the shell and is passed around the tube bundles.
