Apex , Well Testing has developed its own set of fabrication specifications to ensure that equipment used by Apex Petroleum Services, Well Testing meets or exceeds all local requirements. Apex Petroleum Services, Well Testing specifications are primarily based on the following worldwide recognised specifications:

Gas Production Unit (GPU)

The Apex GPU is a compact, high-performance solution designed to manage wellhead gas in both early production and long-term operation scenarios. Each unit features a 24″ x 10 ft, 1440 psi-rated 3-phase separator for efficient separation of gas, oil, and water, supported by 3″ 5000 psi-rated coils and a 1.5 MMBTU/hr indirect gas-fired heater for dependable heat management. All systems are integrated with advanced electric controls for safe, automated operation in remote or unmanned locations.

The PF2100 BMS (Burner Management System) is an advanced electronic control and monitoring system designed for use on a wide variety of natural draft burner industrial applications up to 12.5MM BTU/h. Hinged and clamped, or two-piece flame arrestors, provide superior protection for the flame cell, particularly during maintenance activities. This design not only simplifies future maintenance tasks but also enables the lifting of heavy components while ensuring the safety of the cell.

Robust, field-proven, and safety-focused, the Apex heater solution ensures seamless integration into well testing and production applications.

  • Wellhead gas processing during flowback and production testing
  • Remote gas gathering systems in shale plays or marginal fields
  • Cold weather operations where flow assurance is critical
  • Permanent installations where reliable gas-liquid separation and temperature regulation are required
